Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Bangkok – Sawasdee!

Upon your arrival in Bangkok, you will benefit from a privilege welcome with assistance and a porter who will be waiting for you with a personalised sign. Your room will be available at 2 pm. You’ll have the remainder of the day free to enjoy.

Day 2 – Ayutthaya Day Trip

Make your way to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siam and a remarkable archaeological site. You will visit several emblematic temples, such as Wat Phanangchoeng and Wat Lokaya Sutharam with its 42-metre reclining Buddha. You will also visit Wat Phra Si Sanphet, which served as a royal temple. End the day at Wat Mahathat, the symbol of Ayutthaya! Board your barge back to Bangkok with a buffet lunch of either eastern and western cuisines while you can enjoy the scenery from the deck.

Day 3 – Bangkok Full-Day Tour

Start by visiting Jim Thompson House, remarkable for its traditional wooden architecture. Immerse yourself in local life on a water taxi on the Bangkok klongs. Discover Wat Saket: after climbing its 344 steps, you will admire the panoramic view of the city, have lunch, then go down the river to Wat Arun. The last boat will take you to Wat Pho, with its impressive 45-metre reclining Buddha. Hop on a tuk-tuk to Talad Noi district, one of the oldest in the city to end the day.

Day 4 – Ampawa Flating Market and the Night Train

You will drive towards Ampawa, southwest of Bangkok. Here you will have an introduction to the ingredients of Thai cuisine, then take part in the preparation of lunch. After lunch depart towards the floating market of Ampawa. The wooden stalls that line the canal are illuminated in the early evening to give it its charm and make it a picturesque experience. In the late afternoon, transfer to Ratchaburi station for your night train to Surat Thani, you’ll have dinner on board.

Day 5 – Khao Sok National Park

On arrival to Surat Thani train station, you will be greeted by your guide and then transferred to Khao Sok National Park to check-in to your hotel. Lunch is included at the hotel. You will start the afternoon with a bamboo-rafting trip along the river for your first discovery of the fauna and flora of the national park. Return to the hotel and the rest of the day free. In the evening, you’ll have the ultimate jungle cooking experience as you help prepare dinner.

Day 6 – Cheow Lan Lake

Depart to Cheow Lan Lake where rocky peaks emerge from its emerald waters that are reminiscent of the famous Halong Bay. Ride in a traditional motorised dugout canoe to reach a floating bungalow on the lake and have lunch. Depart by long-tail boat to the north of the lake to trek through the lush forest to the Coral Cave. It owes its name to the curious coral-like limestone formations that form on the stalactites of the cave. In the afternoon swim or canoe before a Thai-style dinner.

Day 7 – Khao Sok to Phuket

You’ll have the morning to enjoy the serenity of the lake before you are transferred to Phuket, just three hours from Khao Sok. Today is all about you, so kick back and relax by the pool, make the most of the beach, or even treat yourself to some spa treatments.

Day 9 – Explore Phuket

Another day in paradise on this Thailand vacation! Today, you might want to explore the more traditional side of Phuket. Away from the resort towns and party life, Phuket Old Town is a charming network of Sino-Portuguese builds painted in pastel colours and adorned with the classic dark wood. Between the boutique shops and traditional Thai and Chinese restaurants, you’ll find secret Chinese temples and graffiti appearing on every corner.

Day 10 – One Last Day in Phuket

As its your last day in Thailand, why not treat yourself with the experience of a lifetime, and get to know some elephants. There are many elephant sanctuaries on the island, however, Elephant Nature Park is known to be the most ethical.
