Royal Caribbean “Voyager of the Seas”
Here at Barrow & Bear Travel we pride ourselves on keeping up to date on all the latest Travel trends, new openings and renovations so when we found out that one of our favorite cruise ships Royal Caribbean’s “Voyager of the Seas” was going to be in Brisbane for the day fresh from renovations we jumped at the chance to go on board and check it out!
Having just arrived from Singapore after being in the dry dock for over a month and with a price tag on the renovations of over $97 million we were keen to see the updates and new additions.
In terms of on-board accommodation 72 new inside and balcony staterooms have been added to the voyager along with a Suite Lounge and outdoor area – exclusively for guests in Grand Suites upwards and the Diamond Lounge for members of Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society loyalty program.
Another major change has been to the Vitality Spa and Fitness Centre which has been enhanced and relocated to the stern of the ship creating the perfect space to relax in the adults only solarium or indulge in a signature treatment!
As the ultimate cruise for families, Kids have really been taken into consideration with the updates and a new nursery program for children under three (ages six to 36 months) has been introduced. Older children and teenagers have also been catered for and can enjoy activities into the late evening with the newly appointed teen-only spaces, and the addition of a laid-back outdoor deck.
One of the most exciting changes has been the addition of The duel watersides “The Perfect Storm” and for the first ever time on the Voyager Laser Tag: Battle for Planet Z offers big and little kids alike to participate in the Ultimate Laser tag adventure!
We are blown away with the changes to the Voyager which have only enhanced what was already an amazing ship and would not hesitate to recommend a journey on her to any of our valued clients.
